copyright 2025

Logline:

Tim Tutt is trapped in the womb of Jesus. There is no exit. Not until he fully surrenders to God. As a divine worker named Deep Smurph antagonizes and observes him, Tim flails through despair, confusion, absurdity, ego death, and unexpected moments of humor — all while desperately trying to understand how to get out. A spiritual, symbolic, and emotional unraveling begins. REPORT! is a visual exploration of what it means to be human, to let go, and to awaken.

Tone & Style:

Visually minimalist and philosophically rich. Shot entirely on a white soundstage using symbolic props and movement. The film is layered with hilarious moments, deeply convicting scenes, surreal exchanges, and poetic imagery. Think visual koan meets absurdist theater. Each scene peels back another layer of meaning.

Key Themes:

• Spiritual surrender

• Ego death & awakening

• Free will vs divine orchestration

• The illusion of control

• Psychedelic consciousness

• Existential comedy

Visual Hook:

Tim is a normal, middle-aged, relatable man who’s found himself trapped in the womb of Jesus through a psychedelic experience.Deep Smurph is an entirely blue being who wears a Carhartt work jumpsuit and wields a clipboard, writing reports on Tim's progress while frustrating him with stoicism and vague protocols.
